1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird
Only 135 were ever produced of the Hemi Superbird, a version of the Road Runner that had been highly modified.
1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1
With only 69 ever produced, the Camaro ZL-1 is a legend in its own right. The Godfather of the modern Camaro, the ZL-1 was a unique creation with custom front and rear suspension and an increased cooling capacity to name a few.
1967 Ford Fairlane 500 R-Code
The original 57 Fairlane 500 R-Codes were made as identical copies of each other and since it’s creation has appeared in a number of places, including Popular Hot Rodding.
1967 Plymouth RO23 GTX
Initially only designed for racing, the 55 RO23 GTX’s that were produced found their way into the hands of street racers and as 500 pounds lighter than the regular version, saw a big increase in performance.
1970-71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible
This is where we get to something really special. With only 21 convertibles ever made, this car became exclusive due to the additional $870 that owners needed to pay on top of the standard model’s price.
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 LS6
As one of the rarest Chevelles ever, there were only ever 20 of this model made and it was disguised as a LS6 which included an upgraded 44cubi inch V8.
1967 Chevrolet Corvette L88
Designed for the purpose of racing, there were only 20 Corvette L88’s produced. Despite having some impressive specs, Chevrolet didn’t advertise this car in order to discourage street racers and as a result, they didn’t sell many.
1971 Pontiac GTO Judge Convertible
Based on the Ferrari 250 GTO, there were only 17 GTO Judge’s produced. Due to changes in the emission standards, production of this model soon ceased.
1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL-1
Only 3 ZL-1s were made. One was order by a plant worker where the car’s were manufactured and another was produced to provide documentation that the car was actually made, which sent the value of it sky high.
1967/1970 Dodge Coronet R/T 436 Hemi Convertible
At the top of our list comes the very special Dodge Coronet. Only 2 were produced and is now considered to be one of the rarest American muscle cars of all time.
